Peter Righi

Peter Righi

Peter Righi is a co-developer and the Global Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development (CEED) program which was founded by the Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF) in 2005. Peter conducted the primary research among SME entrepreneurs, was a prime architect of the training, networking, and market access model on which the program is based.

Peter has worked in SEAF’s Business Development Unit for 10 years and is a Sr. Associate for the BDU in addition to directing the CEED program. (SEAF is a private equity provider for SMEs in emerging markets.) During his time at SEAF, he has helped implement various export development programs for SEAF’s investees and has actively contributed to their sales in foreign markets. Peter has a BA in Political Science and Economics from Middlebury College, as well as an MA from Middlebury College’s Spanish School and its affiliate school in Madrid, Spain. He also has an MA in International Economics from American University’s School of International Service. He speaks English and Spanish fluently.

Tom Drum

Tom Drum

Tom Drum has been with SEAF since 2002 after completing 28 years with The Procter and Gamble Company.At P&G Tom held product management positions in various household product businesses including the foods, soap and detergent, dentifrice, hair care, skin care, and cosmetics categories. Tom has held international roles since 1980, helping drive greater globalization of products and technologies that addressed local habits and market competition, and leveraged local sources. Since joining SEAF, Tom has focused on supporting SEAF’s investee community, providing strategic, marketing, and product counsel.
Tom is a co-developer of the CEED (Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development) program.Tom has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology (Newark, New Jersey, USA) and a Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Management from Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.) He has lectured on global product development at Georgetown University, SAIS, the World Trade Center Institute in Baltimore, Maryland as well as at the University of Baltimore.
